Riyadh, December 08, 2023, In Silicon Valley, California, USA, Minister of Communications and Information Technology (CIT) Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha held a meeting with Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google and Alphabet, along with several senior executives. The primary focus of the meeting was to expand the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Google in the areas of cloud computing, innovation, and capacity development.
According to an official report from the Ministry of CIT in Riyadh, the discussions included exploring opportunities for collaboration to advance the digital economy, foster entrepreneurship, and cultivate a generation skilled in technology and innovation. The goal is to accelerate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's digital transformation journey.
In addition to the meeting with Google, Eng. Al-Swaha also had discussions with the CEO of Intel to explore partnership opportunities and advance research in network technologies and artificial intelligence solutions. The aim is to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and build a digital economy grounded in innovation and technology.
