RIYADH, April 4, 2025: The public is urged to remain cautious as thunderstorms and heavy rains are forecasted to continue across most regions of the Kingdom until Monday, according to the General Directorate of Civil Defense.

Residents are advised to seek safe locations, avoid valleys and flood-prone areas, and refrain from swimming in them, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The report indicates that dust-stirring winds and moderate to heavy rainfall are expected in the Makkah and Riyadh regions.

Additionally, the directorate noted that moderate to heavy rain is anticipated in the Tabuk, Madinah, Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern Province, Hail, Qassim, Baha, and Asir regions.

Meanwhile, the Jazan region will experience light to moderate rain, while the Najran region is expected to receive light showers, the report stated.

The Civil Defense has urged the public to follow official channels and social media platforms for the latest weather updates.
