CMA releases QSB for Q2 2023

Riyadh, September 03, 2023, The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has made the Quarterly Statistical Bulletin (QSB) for the second quarter (Q2) of 2023 public. This publication is a part of the CMA's ongoing mission to provide statistical data and information about the Saudi capital market to participants, market analysts, and academic and student researchers. The CMA's other goals include raising openness and disclosure standards and promoting the expansion and development of investment opportunities within the capital market. According to QSB data, there were 228 listed firms on the main market (TASI) at the end of the second quarter of 2023, an increase of 6% over the 215 companies that were registered in the second quarter of 2022. At the conclusion of the second quarter of 2023, there were 62 listed firms on the unofficial "Nomu" market, a significant increase of 100% from the 31 entities noted in the second quarter of 2022. The QSB provides a wide range of information about the Saudi capital market, including data on initial public offerings (IPOs), equity and debt instruments, investment funds, and details on capital market institutions, listed companies, and authorized financial technology (FinTech) companies. The bulletin also has a separate chapter devoted to corporate governance issues.
