Cold Weather and Thundershowers Expected in Various Regions of the Kingdom

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast for today, indicating cold weather across most regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, some parts of Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions can expect moderate to torrential thundershowers accompanied by strong winds.


Thundershowers and strong winds are also anticipated in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, with the possibility of fog formation in these areas as well as the Northern Borders, Jawf, and Tabuk regions.


In the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northeasterly to northwesterly in the central and southern parts, with speeds ranging from 15 to 45 km/h. In the southern part of the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, with speeds of 15 to 40 km/h and the possibility of thunderstorms. Similarly, in the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, registering speeds of 15 to 35 km/h, along with thunderstorms.


Residents and travelers in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with the latest weather reports.
