Riyadh, May 13, 2024, The Ministry of Commerce will participate tomorrow in the GREAT FUTURES Initiative Conference, held here in the King Abdullah Financial District with the aim of enhancing the economic partnerships of Saudi and British business sectors.
Events related to the conference will be held over the next 12 months, featuring the most innovative and creative companies with the aim of boosting partnerships in promising and emerging fields between the two countries.
The ministry aims to facilitate meetings between business leaders from the two kingdoms and acquaint the British business sector with the economic reforms made by the Kingdom to improve the business environment and facilitate economic activities. The ministry also aims to facilitate discussions concerning opportunities for cooperation in priority sectors.
The conference is one of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council's initiatives, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
It is bound to enhance cooperation and facilitate partnerships in 13 vital sectors, focusing on innovation and creativity.
The conference is an important forum for exchanging experiences and learning about the latest practices in priority and promising sectors.
It will feature 127 speakers from the two countries' public and private sectors who will participate in 47 sessions and workshops aimed at boosting trade between the two friendly nations, which reached some SAR82 billion last year.
