Jeddah, November 07, 2023, Speakers discussed women's rights and position in Islamic and societal traditions during the first two sessions of the second day of the International Conference on Women in Islam, which is headlined "Status and Empowerment." Three seminars, one titled "Muslim Woman within the Gulf, Arab, and Islamic Framework" and another titled "Muslim Woman in Contemporary Communities: Opportunities and Challenges," will wrap up the conference on Wednesday. The fifth and final session of the conference will focus on strengthening Muslim women in the workplace and in education.
