Congratulations to World Taekwondo!


Ulugbek Rashitov, who won Uzbekistan's first Olympic gold medal in taekwondo in Tokyo at the age of 19, made history with an outstanding performance in the final, earning the gold medal, and Stephan Fox, the GAISF Vice President and AIMS President, were honored at a special ceremony.

Along with Sherzod Toshmatov, president of taekwondo and vice president of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Stephan Fox, chairman of the GAISF Multisport Games Division, paid a visit to the taekwondo headquarters in Uzbekistan.

Above all, Mr. Fox commended the President for his work in advancing Taekwondo in Uzbekistan and his pursuit of the Olympic medal of his dreams. According to Mr. Fox, World Taekwondo is one of the top martial arts in the world, a significant participant in the World Combat Games and GAISF, and everyone is looking forward to the upcoming competition, the Korea Open, which will take place at the end of June.
