Riyadh, October 12, 2023, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, engaged in a discussion with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey concerning the military escalation in the Gaza Strip and its environs.
In a telephone conversation initiated by President Erdogan on Wednesday, HRH the Crown Prince conveyed that Saudi Arabia is actively pursuing diplomatic efforts on regional and international fronts to foster cooperation that leads to a cessation of the ongoing escalation.
Furthermore, HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Saudi Arabia's steadfast stance against any form of civilian targeting and the loss of innocent lives. He stressed the importance of adhering to the principles of international humanitarian law and the immediate cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
HRH the Crown Prince underscored the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to championing the Palestinian cause and supporting endeavors aimed at realizing a comprehensive and equitable peace settlement that safeguards the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
