Riyadh, December 26, 2023, Deputizing for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is set to deliver the annual royal speech to inaugurate the fourth year of the eighth session of the Shura Council. The announcement was made by the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh.
In press remarks, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh expressed pride in the annual occasion, emphasizing the honor bestowed upon the council to hear the annual royal speech, which will be delivered on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques by HRH the Crown Prince. The speech is expected to cover the internal and foreign policy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the Shura Council's commitment to the objectives outlined in the annual royal speech, which serves as a roadmap for addressing issues on internal, foreign, regional, and international levels. This, in turn, contributes to realizing the ambitions of the people and aligning with the leadership's aspirations.
Acknowledging the significant support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh emphasized the crucial role of the Shura Council in carrying out its responsibilities at the controlling and legislative levels, in line with the leadership's vision and goals.
