Jeddah, March 20, 2024, Today, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, welcomed Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Lieutenant General Asim Munir to his office in Jeddah for a significant meeting.
The discussions during the meeting revolved around various aspects of military cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with a focus on addressing mutual interests and strengthening bilateral relations.
Among the distinguished attendees at the reception were Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Chief of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, and the Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, as well as Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki.
Representing Pakistan were Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Secretary to the Commander of the Pakistani Army Major General Mohammed Jawad Tariq, and the Military Attaché at the Embassy of Pakistan in the Kingdom Brigadier Muhammad Asim.
The gathering highlighted the commitment of both countries to fostering robust military ties and working collaboratively on matters of strategic importance, reflecting the enduring partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
