Riyadh, October 10, 2023, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, engaged in a telephone conversation today with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
During their conversation, they delved into the military escalation in Gaza and its neighboring areas, addressing the escalating threat to civilian lives and regional security and stability.
The Crown Prince underscored the Kingdom's active engagement with international and regional stakeholders to quell the ongoing escalation and prevent its further spread. He emphasized the imperative adherence to international humanitarian law and the avoidance of civilian targeting.
Furthermore, he reaffirmed the Kingdom's unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their quest for legitimate rights, a dignified life, the realization of their aspirations, and the attainment of a just and lasting peace.
In response, President Abbas expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Kingdom's leadership, recognizing its steadfast stance and efforts in championing the Palestinian cause and supporting the Palestinian people.
