Kuwait, December 17, 2023, In accordance with the directive from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, conveyed his condolences upon his arrival in Kuwait today following the passing of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait.
Upon landing at Amiri Airport, HRH the Crown Prince was warmly received by Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait. The Amir expressed his sincere gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince for the heartfelt fraternal sentiments extended towards the State of Kuwait and its people during this challenging period of mourning.
During his visit, HRH the Crown Prince also received a warm welcome from several dignitaries, including Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and various members of the late Amir's family, alongside other esteemed sheikhs.
Accompanying HRH the Crown Prince were distinguished figures, including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and various other high-ranking officials.
Following the visit, HRH the Crown Prince bid farewell to Kuwait, with the Amir seeing him off, marking a moment of shared condolences and diplomatic solidarity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait during this period of mourning.
