Makkah, March 26, 2025 – Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) Governor Dr. Mohammad bin Saud Altamimi conducted an inspection of communication and technology services in Makkah during Ramadan, meeting with key governmental entities involved in serving visitors.

Dr. Altamimi held discussions with officials from the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, and the Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP). The meetings aimed to enhance services for Umrah performers before, during, and after their pilgrimage, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

These engagements align with CST's mission as a regulatory authority overseeing the Kingdom’s information and communications technology (ICT) sector. The commission continues its efforts to enhance user experience through integrated technical services, ensuring seamless connectivity and monitoring infrastructure designed to support pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
