King Salman bin Abdulaziz extended condolences to Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel following the devastating floods and landslides in Nepal.

Riyadh, October 2, 2024 – His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, conveyed a message of deep sorrow and profound sympathy to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in light of the devastating floods and landslides that have tragically impacted the nation. In his message, King Salman expressed his heartfelt condolences to His Excellency Ram Chandra Paudel, the President of Nepal, as well as to the families of the victims and the broader Nepalese community who have suffered greatly due to these natural disasters.



The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques extended his sincere sympathies to those mourning the loss of loved ones and offered prayers for the safe return of those still unaccounted for. His Majesty also expressed his earnest wishes for a swift and complete recovery for the individuals injured in the calamity. Acknowledging the heavy toll these disasters have taken on Nepal, King Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s compassionate stance toward the people of Nepal during this time of suffering.



In his message, His Majesty emphasized the long-standing friendship and shared values between Saudi Arabia and Nepal, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Nepal as it navigates this challenging period.
