Riyadh, November 27, 2024 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a formal written invitation from His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, to attend the 45th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which is scheduled to take place in Kuwait.
The message was delivered to Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State and Cabinet Member, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, during a meeting held in Riyadh today with Kuwait’s Amir’s Envoy, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. The meeting was a platform for cordial and constructive discussions between the two officials, highlighting the long-standing ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
During their talks, the two sides exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest, with an emphasis on the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
