Riyadh, January 09, 2024, The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has released the second edition of the Darah Journal of Arabian Peninsula Studies (DJAP) in collaboration with the Dutch academic publisher, Brill. Published biannually, DJAP features original scholarly research covering the Arabian Peninsula from ancient times to the present, with a focus on history, archaeology, literature, geography, anthropology, heritage, sociology, and cultural history.
The second edition includes four research essays, such as "Saudi Foreign Policy over Three Millennia: A Study of Constants," "The Image of Woman in Al-Sharif Al-Radi’s Poetry," "The Military Role of Bedouin Women in the Arabian Peninsula," and "The King Abdulaziz Sabeel Reservoir in Makkah." The journal aims to contribute to the academic understanding of the Arabian Peninsula across various disciplines.
