Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman leads King Abdulaziz Military College's 82nd graduating class ceremony

Riyadh, April 26, 2024, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz recently presided over the commencement ceremony of the 82nd graduating class of cadets from King Abdulaziz Military College. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Vice Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF), and Major General Ali bin Saleh Al-Hudhaif, Commander of King Abdulaziz Military College.

The event commenced with the playing of the royal anthem and recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, setting a solemn and dignified tone. During the ceremony, the Commander of King Abdulaziz Military College delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Minister of Defense for his gracious patronage. He highlighted the extensive civil and military knowledge acquired by the graduates, affirming their readiness and capability to assume their responsibilities and military duties alongside their peers in the armed forces.

A heartfelt speech was delivered by the first sergeant major of the college, Dhafer bin Mohammed Al-Sabiei, representing the graduating class. He conveyed profound appreciation to the Minister of Defense for his support and encouragement throughout their academic journey.

The ceremony culminated with the distribution of awards and certificates to the graduates, marking a significant milestone in their military careers. Notably, the graduating class comprised students from various countries, including Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, Mauritania, and Sudan, reflecting the college's diverse and inclusive approach to education and training.

The presence of several dignitaries and officials at the ceremony underscored the importance of the event and the collective commitment to excellence and professionalism within the military establishment.
