Riyadh, September 20, 2023, The Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, met with a delegation from Sanaa that was visiting Riyadh. The meeting highlighted the Kingdom's continuous support for Yemen and its people, as well as its unwavering commitment to encourage Yemeni parties to engage in dialogue in order to reach a comprehensive and durable political solution under United Nations supervision. The Saudi position seeks to lead Yemen towards a comprehensive renaissance and sustained development for the Yemeni people within the context of enduring political stability and security that is in line with the developmental progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) system.
Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, the Saudi ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, witnessed the meeting.
