Riyadh, February 07, 2024, At the World Defense Show 2024, the Ministry of Defense today inked 10 contracts with domestic and foreign businesses in an effort to strengthen the fighting prowess of the various branches of the armed forces, boost their combat effectiveness, and promote and localize defense manufacture.This is in line with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to localize more than 50% of the money spent on military hardware and services.Rheinmetall Arabia Simulation and Training (RAST), HENSOLDT GEW in South Africa, Rheinmetall Expal in Spain, Bosnia Igman Company, Poongsan Corporation in Korea, Qudra Industrial Company, Fahad International Company, and the National Company for Mechanical Systems were among the companies with which the contracts were signed.
