Departing pilgrims received over 25,000 copies of the gift from the custodian of the two holy mosques at the airports in Madinah.

The event took place on June 22, 2024, in Madinah. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance presented over 25,000 copies of the Holy Quran, available in a variety of sizes and languages, to departing pilgrims at the airports in Madinah and Yanbu. This was a magnificent gift from the custodian of the two holy mosques. The pilgrims wanted to express their gratitude for this one-of-a-kind gift as well as their gratitude to Saudi Arabia for the significant efforts it had made to make their Hajj journey easier. The director general of the ministry's Madinah branch, Sheikh Osama bin Zaid Al-Madkhali, emphasized that this step indicates the wise leadership's continuous dedication to helping the Two Holy Mosques and their guests. He said that this move is a demonstration of the ministry's continued dedication.
