The Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region verifies a peaceful and easy end to the arrival of pilgrims to Mina

Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz confirms the end of the influx of pilgrims to Mina without epidemics or disruptions to his Hajj rituals.

Prince Saud expressed his gratitude to the Government and the leadership of Saudi Arabia for their support during the Hajj season.

The administration has made efforts to assist the pilgrims, including the provision of hospitals and health clinics, transportation and water supply.

Today, June 15, 2024, Mina. Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, who serves as Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region and Vice-President of the Hajj Central Committee, has confirmed that the influx of pilgrims to Mina has ended without epidemics or other events that have hampered their Hajj rituals. Prince Saud bin Mishaal expressed his gratitude to the Custodian Government of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulazis Al Saudi, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their inexhaustible support throughout the Hajj season. When Prince Saud arrived in Mina to check out the activities of the Hajj and proceed with them, he made the following statement: "We, in this blessed country, are all honored to serve the pilgrims who come to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam." Every effort will be made to make life easier for them.

It is simply a continuation of the approach that has been in use in this country from the reign of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman to our prosperous days. This method has ensured that the two sacred mosques and the sacred places, together with their visitors, receive maximum attention and care. In addition, Prince Saud noted that the administration of the Custody of the Two Holy Mosques has sent all its departments and employees to help the pilgrims. The Ministry of Health has prepared 189 hospitals and health clinics, some of which serve as field hospitals.

Prince Saud has confirmed that they have acquired more than three million cubic meters of water to meet their needs during their stay in Mecca and the sacred places. Prince Saud has built the Mashaer Train to transport two million pilgrims, assisted by seventeen thousand vehicles equipped with the latest technological advances. We made this decision to simplify the rituals. As a matter of obligation, we are here to serve you in all possible ways, as Prince Saud has stated.

Thus, worship and adore the rituals of Allah while avoiding sins, immorality, and discrepancies. Addressing security personnel and employees of government, corporate and voluntary agencies, Prince Saud praised them for their enormous efforts to ensure the safety of pilgrims and to deter anyone who attempts to jeopardize the security of the Hajj or violate the laws. He urged a variety of organizations, including public, private and voluntary ones, to increase their efforts and provide pilgrims with the highest possible level of care and attention.
