Riyadh, November 11, 2023, The Digital Government Authority (DGA) has introduced the IMPACT digital market initiative for 54 member countries of the Digital Cooperation Organization and African Union. The program aims to foster a comprehensive digital economy, bridging gaps and creating value across various sectors. Launched at the Saudi-African Summit in Riyadh, the initiative focuses on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and user experience within service sectors. According to Governor Ahmed Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan, this initiative aligns with the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, emphasizing the integration of efforts. The IMPACT Initiative's goal extends to augmenting the digital economy's contribution and enhancing access to digital services in areas like education, health, justice, and security. Collaborating with governmental bodies in beneficiary countries, the DGA and the Digital Cooperation Organization will drive the initiative's utilization. Moreover, several Saudi companies, including Elm, Thiqah, Tahakom, Tabadul, Lean, and Tetco, are actively involved in this initiative.
