
Berlin, March 06, 2025 – The Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP), in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and Jeddah Airports Company (JEDCO), has announced the launch of a new direct flight route from Stuttgart, Germany, to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Set to begin in the second half of 2025, these flights will operate twice a week, utilizing an A321neo aircraft with a capacity of 224 seats. This strategic initiative is aimed at expanding air travel options for visitors and travelers from Europe and the United States to Saudi Arabia, further enhancing connectivity between the Kingdom and key international markets.
Majid Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Air Connectivity Program, highlighted the progress made through the ongoing collaboration with Eurowings, the airline partner facilitating this new route. Khan emphasized that the cooperation marks a significant step in strengthening air links between Saudi Arabia and Europe. He expressed confidence that this partnership would lay the foundation for a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship, which would see the expansion of air routes and offer travelers more opportunities to explore Saudi Arabia’s rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant landscapes.
The launch of direct flights from Stuttgart to Jeddah is part of ACP’s broader strategy to drive tourism growth in Saudi Arabia by improving air connectivity with key global destinations. By increasing the capacity and accessibility of air routes, ACP seeks to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a top global destination for both tourism and business.
