Mohammed Shahid Alam, the Indian consul general in Jeddah, was greeted on August 6, 2024, by Mazen bin Hamad Al-Hamli, the director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in Makkah.
Alam resigned from his position as India's Consul General on this particular occasion.
