Rabat, October 04, 2023, During an official visit to Morocco, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Chairman of the Pilgrim Experience Program Committee, held a meeting with the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita. In the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabiah expressed Saudi Arabia's pride in the enduring partnership and cooperative relations shared with Morocco. Both nations expressed their shared commitment to further enhancing these relations for the mutual benefit of their countries.
In response, Bourita praised the strong bonds between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, emphasizing their joint determination to elevate these ties to new heights. He highlighted the ongoing cooperation and coordination between relevant authorities to facilitate the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage for Moroccan citizens. Furthermore, Bourita commended the "Makkah Route Initiative" service, which Morocco has been a part of since the previous year. This initiative has played a vital role in streamlining the pilgrimage process for Moroccan pilgrims.
