Dr. Al-Rabiah reiterates Saudi commitment to support global pilgrims, including Tunisians

Tunis, October 09, 2023, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to offering comprehensive support to pilgrims and Umrah participants from Tunisia and around the world. This commitment is exemplified by the recent establishment of the Saudi visa-issuing "Tasheer" center and "Nusuk" platform in Tunisia, aimed at streamlining visa procedures and enhancing services for visitors to the Kingdom, Dr. Al-Rabiah explained.

These services have been designed with the primary goal of saving time and reducing costs for all travelers. Dr. Al-Rabiah made these remarks during a press conference in Tunis, where he was joined by Tunisia's Minister of Religious Affairs, Ibrahim Chaibi, to showcase recent initiatives aimed at simplifying procedures for pilgrims and Umrah participants.

During the press conference, Dr. Al-Rabiah announced that Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) is offering a special 15 percent discount for Tunisian pilgrims and Umrah participants. He also underscored the collaborative efforts with Tunisian authorities to provide direct flights to Jeddah from various Tunisian cities, including Djerba.

In response, the Tunisian minister commended the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for its unwavering dedication to serving pilgrims and its ongoing endeavors to address any challenges that visitors may encounter.
