Jeddah, November 01, 2023, The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, has embarked on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministry leaders, partners from the Hajj and Umrah sector, representatives from the private sector, and organizations dedicated to serving Umrah pilgrims.
The purpose of this visit is to explore avenues for productive collaboration between the two sides to streamline the processes for Umrah pilgrims, whether they are citizens or residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain, enhancing their religious and cultural experiences. Additionally, the visit aims to highlight the benefits of the electronic Umrah visa for residents and the "Nusuk" digital platform, along with its various services.
During his visit, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah will engage in discussions with Bahraini officials and service providers in the Hajj and Umrah sector to address strategies for raising awareness among Umrah pilgrims and the amenities provided to those coming from Bahrain to Makkah and Madinah.
This visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain is a significant milestone in the international outreach efforts of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah. It serves to underscore the transformative changes in procedures and services, as well as the future plans for hosting Umrah pilgrims and visitors, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
