Riyadh, October 31, 2023, Dr. Khalid Al-Youssef, President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judicial Council, highlighted a significant transformation in the Kingdom's public sector governance during a lecture at King Saud University (KSU). Addressing an audience at the College of Business Administration (CBA), he delved into the governance of administrative, technical, and legislative work, as well as the challenges faced by the Board of Grievances. He discussed the board's evolution in assuming judicial, administrative, and operational responsibilities.
Al-Youssef emphasized that the Board of Grievances has embraced policies and regulations encompassing judicial, administrative, and operational dimensions. These regulations emphasize principles such as participation, transparency, financial and temporal auditing, and accountability, with the ultimate goal of ensuring complete justice—a pivotal strategic objective for the board.
Additionally, the Board of Grievances is actively working to fortify its ties with academic institutions. Its aim is to foster a deeper understanding of the administrative judiciary's nature and its role in the Kingdom. It also seeks to raise awareness about the nation's ongoing endeavors to enhance the performance of the public sector, thereby promoting more efficient governance.
