Riyadh, September 19, 2023, Dr. Mohammed Hasan Alwan, CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission (LPTC), conferred with Maria da Piedade de Jesus, Angola's State Minister for Tourism and Culture, in Riyadh today. The meeting, which was witnessed by the Angolan ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Frederico Cardoso, focused on opportunities for expertise exchange and collaboration in translation and publishing between the two nations. Programs, strategies, and initiatives of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission were also reviewed during the meeting, in addition to cooperation in translation from Portuguese, Angola's official language, into Arabic.
