- Pilgrims are advised to work with campaign teams while traveling, to remain on designated busses for their safety, and to report any issues they may have via the customer service account @TGA_CARE or the unified number 19929.
June 2, 2024, Riyadh: Transport General Authority urged the need to use licensed transporters during Hajj season because of the sudden increase in the number of pilgrims and visitors who will flock to Makkah, Al-Madinah, and Jeddah.
They have been provided with a wide range of transport choices to choose from by the administration while traveling. These transportation options include ride-hailing services, taxis, public buses, and rental cars. Over 355 buses have been set aside for use as public transportation in Makkah. During the previous Ramadan, over 27 buses carried over 7 million passengers, while over a million buses carried over one million passengers in Al-Madinah.
The authorities encouraged pilgrims to help campaign teams along the way. The authorities also reminded them to stay aboard designated busses to ensure their safety is assured, as well as to enable them to easily carry out their ritualist's responsibilities.
