During Hajj Season 1445 AH, the Transport General Authority advises using authorized carriers.

- The Transport General Authority of Saudi Arabia takes great importance in using certified carriers because the number of pilgrims and tourists that come to Makkah, Al-Madinah, and Jeddah during Hajj season is almost uncontrolled.

- There are many modes of transportation for pilgrims, from online ride-hailing services and taxi services to public buses and car rentals. Over 355 buses have been allocated for use as public transportation in Makkah.

- Pilgrims are advised to work with campaign teams while traveling, to remain on designated busses for their safety, and to report any issues they may have via the customer service account @TGA_CARE or the unified number 19929.

June 2, 2024, Riyadh: Transport General Authority urged the need to use licensed transporters during Hajj season because of the sudden increase in the number of pilgrims and visitors who will flock to Makkah, Al-Madinah, and Jeddah.

They have been provided with a wide range of transport choices to choose from by the administration while traveling. These transportation options include ride-hailing services, taxis, public buses, and rental cars. Over 355 buses have been set aside for use as public transportation in Makkah. During the previous Ramadan, over 27 buses carried over 7 million passengers, while over a million buses carried over one million passengers in Al-Madinah.

The authorities encouraged pilgrims to help campaign teams along the way. The authorities also reminded them to stay aboard designated busses to ensure their safety is assured, as well as to enable them to easily carry out their ritualist's responsibilities.

The administration is focused on receiving pilgrims during the Hajj season and is ready for any report or complaint submitted through the appropriate channels. The pilgrims can contact us through the customer care account for the X platform, @TGA_CARE, or via the unified number 19929. Several benefits are offered by authorized carriers, such as safe transportation in contemporary cars and a variety of payment options, including electronic payments.
