The National Water Company regularly analyzes the laboratory water to make sure it is safe to drink and complies with international drinking water regulations.
To better assist the pilgrims during this Hajj season, the NWC has started expanding its operations.
Over 4,100 water-related laboratory tests are carried out every day by highly qualified and experienced NWC personnel throughout the Hajj season.
Mina, it's June 17, 2024. Water is still routinely tested in labs by the National Water Company (NWC) to verify its purity and make sure it meets international drinking water standards. Viewing these activities as fundamental to its functioning, the National Welfare Council (NWC) is extending these operations to a great extent to offer pilgrims the greatest services available for the current Hajj season, which occurs in 1445. Along with other areas of pilgrim service, one of the organization's operational priorities for this year's Hajj season includes confirming the quality of the water provided. Field staff personnel gather samples from operational reservoirs, strategic storage tanks, the most significant sources of drinking water, and the water networks of Makkah and the holy sites around the clock throughout the Hajj season. During the Hajj season, the National Water Commission (NWC), which asserts to have highly qualified and specialized national specialists working for them, examines water in around 4,100 labs every day.
