During the Hajj season, one million translated copies of the Holy Quran will be distributed by the Presidency for Religious Affairs

Pilgrims will receive copies of the Holy Quran with translated meanings as a gift from the two holy mosques to their respective countries of origin.

The 9th of June, 2024, Makkah. During the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, the Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is committed to facilitating a wide range of activities, events, and initiatives. One of the primary points of emphasis is the distribution of copies of the Holy Quran with translated meanings to pilgrims as a treasured gift from the two holy mosques to their respective countries of origin. Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, who serves as the President of Religious Affairs at both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, announced that the Presidency intends to enhance the number of religious events and activities that take place at the two holy mosques during the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Pilgrims who have traveled from all over the world to perform the Hajj rite will have the opportunity to enhance their experiences through participation in this initiative.


He brought attention to the fact that the Kingdom's leadership is committed to disseminating the Holy Quran message and instilling tolerance and moderation in its citizens. Dr. Al-Sudais continued by stating that the Kingdom's leadership has placed a high priority on the two holy mosques and the visitors who visit them, to make the rites they perform simpler and more convenient. In addition, he stated that the presidency intends to deliver one million translated copies of the Holy Quran to pilgrims as gifts at the end of the Hajj season in 1445 AH.
