The 23rd of June, 2024, Makkah. The Secretary-General for Islamic Awareness in Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, representing the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, delivered 1,485,000 individuals to perform religious rituals during this year's Hajj season. During the period commencing with the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah in 1445 AH and ending with the conclusion of the current Hajj season, more than two million pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors took advantage of these services. The General Secretariat filed a report stating that 632 preachers and translators assisted in educating the pilgrims. At Islamic awareness kiosks located in Taneem Mosque, Juranah Mosque, key prayer places, and internal pilgrim camps in Mina, they provided answers to the questions that inquired about Islam. The survey's findings indicate that 160,000 religious activities were available.

Additionally, the General Secretariat sent approximately 80,000,000 educational and guidance text messages (SMS) in a variety of foreign languages to the mobile phones of pilgrims and service providers in the kingdom. All telecom firms in the kingdom sent these SMS messages. The messages included a step-by-step description of the Hajj rites, adherence to the Kingdom's norms and legislation for pilgrim security and safety, an outline of the stages of the Hajj, and the necessary religious knowledge for pilgrims participating in the daily rituals. To educate pilgrims through the use of contemporary technology, the secretariat activated interactive screens for the electronic library located in the prayer zones and mosques in the central area.

This library has thousands of forms of religious literature. Moreover, it displays 15,000,000 instructional messages in various languages from around the world on electronic screens. According to the study's findings, the toll-free automated and responder hotline (800-245-1000) provided assistance to 1,325,000 individuals prior to the Hajj season's conclusion this year. In addition, a select group of ministry preachers responded to callers' inquiries. We carefully selected these preachers for their comprehensive understanding of Hajj and Umrah procedures in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah, and provided translators in a variety of languages from the worldwide community.
