Riyadh, February 29, 2024, Minister of Education, Yousef Al-Benyan, emphasized the importance of a global collective approach to developing human capabilities to address future challenges in the education sector. Speaking at a dialogue session titled 'Shedding Light on Education' within the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, Al-Benyan highlighted the alignment of the global agenda for developing human capital with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. He stressed the need to focus on long-term education outcomes, evaluate impact, and enhance competencies to achieve goals and fulfill ambitions. Al-Benyan also emphasized the collaboration between the public and private sectors, emphasizing that human capital development is a key priority for progress. The ongoing improvement in national programs has led to a 19-point increase in indicators, marking a fivefold improvement globally. Al-Benyan discussed achievements in early education, aiming to reach 90% by 2030 and emphasizing investment in teacher skills. The HCI Conference serves as a platform for experts and specialists in human resources, facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences, and solutions to enhance roles in various sectors.
