Washington, February 13, 2024, The Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, recently convened with Saudi students pursuing studies in Canada through scholarship programs. Accompanying the minister during the visit were notable figures including Saudi Ambassador to Canada, Dr. Amal Al-Moallimi, the Charge d’Affaires of the attaché in Canada, Dr. Saeed Al-Subaie, and several embassy personnel.
During the interactive session, Minister Al-Benyan received updates on the academic progress of the scholarship recipients and engaged in an open dialogue with them to address their inquiries, as well as the predominant challenges and obstacles they encounter throughout their scholarship tenure.
Al-Benyan underscored the pivotal role of scholarship students in representing a positive and cultured image of Saudi citizens on the global stage. He stressed the significance of embodying the human, cultural, and social values emblematic of the Kingdom, while also highlighting the imperative of showcasing the nation's multifaceted advancements across various sectors, in alignment with the overarching objectives outlined in Vision 2030.
