Cairo - The Arab Republic of Egypt has expressed its warm welcome to the commendable efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman in their pursuit of a sustainable solution to the ongoing crisis in Yemen. Additionally, Egypt acknowledges and appreciates the Kingdom's initiative to host a round of talks with a Yemeni delegation from Sana'a, which aims to further bolster these collective endeavors. In a recent press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to backing initiatives that seek to resolve the ongoing crisis in Yemen. The country emphasizes the need for a sustainable political solution that aligns with established references, namely the Gulf Initiative and its implementation mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive Yemeni national dialogue, and Security Council Resolution 2216. Egypt's stance remains consistent in advocating for an inclusive political process that safeguards the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Yemeni people.
