Cairo, February 04, 2024, Egypt's Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, met with the President of the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser, during his visit to Cairo.
The discussions between the two sides revolved around enhancing cooperation between Egypt and the IsDB Group. The meeting was attended by several Egyptian government ministers, senior officials, and members of the IsDB delegation.
Prime Minister Madbouly emphasized the strong and enduring relations between Egypt and the IsDB, characterizing the IsDB as a key strategic development partner. He acknowledged the substantial funding provided by the IsDB for various projects implemented by the Egyptian government, highlighting the crucial role the IsDB plays in supporting Egypt's development initiatives.
In response, President Al-Jasser expressed gratitude for the support received from the Egyptian State. He commended the ongoing important projects in Egypt and underscored the positive impact of the collaboration between Egypt and the IsDB on the Egyptian people. The meeting reflects the commitment of both parties to strengthening their partnership and continuing to work together on mutually beneficial development projects.
