- The authority is committed to optimizing its resources and skills to meet the increased demand for water during the days of Arafat, Eid al-Adha, and Tashreeq.
- The Saudi Water Authority plans to pump over one billion liters of water into Makkah and the holy sites on the day of Tarwiyah.

On the day of Tarwiyah, the Saudi Water Authority intends to pump more than one billion liters of water into Makkah and the sacred locations.

This marks the initiation of a grand operational approach made to ensure that the local population and Hajj pilgrims never suffer shortage of water all through the sojourn to Mecca.

The authority is determined to use all its resources and expertise so as to satisfy the growing demand for water on the days of Arafat, Eid al-Adha, and Tashreeq.

Muslims believe that on the day of Tarwiyah, which falls on the 8th of Zul Hijjah, all their sins will be removed and they will become pure and white like babies. The Saudi Water Authority on Tuesday said that it will pump more than a billion liters of additional water into Makkah and the holy sites. This endeavor is a part of the organization's bigger operating plan, which seeks to ensure that inhabitants and Hajj pilgrims have a consistent supply of water for the duration of the pilgrimage season. Throughout the Hajj, the authority will not waver in its commitment to maximizing its capabilities and resources. In a bid to exceed last year's record-breaking water supply levels, water will be in abundance to meet the expected increased demand during Arafat, Eid al-Adha, and Tashreeq days. Various water-oriented organizations have put mechanisms in place to ensure that these holy places always have access to clean water. This is attained through dedicated teams, trained personnel, and advanced equipment in place.
