Riyadh, December 8, 2024 – The Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation (SAEF) has announced the victory of Saudi rider Ramzy Al-Duhami in the fourth round of the 2025 Show Jumping World Cup qualifiers, held during the first week of the prestigious Jump Saudi International Championship. The event took place at the state-of-the-art Saudi Jumping venue in Al-Janadriyah, showcasing some of the world’s finest equestrian talent.
Al-Duhami clinched first place in the four-star, 1.55-meter class, completing the course in an impressive time of 43.56 seconds. This victory was a significant milestone for Al-Duhami, who demonstrated exceptional skill and precision, earning him a well-deserved qualification for the 2025 Show Jumping World Cup. In a highly competitive field, German rider David Will secured the second position with a time of 44.23 seconds, while Saudi’s Abdullah Al-Sharbatly rounded off the podium in third place with a time of 45.47 seconds.
The event’s second day featured the highly anticipated speed class in the four-star, 1.40-meter category, where French rider Ines Joly dominated the competition. Joly’s remarkable performance saw her complete the round in just 64.73 seconds, earning her the top spot. Emirati rider Sheikh Ali Al Nuaimi closely followed in second place, finishing with a time of 65.36 seconds, while German rider David Will claimed third place with a time of 65.43 seconds.
Further thrilling action unfolded during the two-star, 1.25-meter category, where Iraqi rider Zaid Al-Najefi delivered an outstanding performance in the speed class. Al-Najefi’s time of 50.91 seconds secured him the first-place position, with Saudi riders Mazen Al-Yousef and Abdulmalik Al-Hadi taking second and third, respectively, after clocking times of 52.41 seconds and 53.33 seconds.
In the second round of the day, the “One Round and Jump-Off” for the two-star, 1.45-meter category, the competition was fierce, but it was Saudi rider Kamal Bahamdan who emerged victorious. Bahamdan’s exceptional jump-off performance, with a time of 36.48 seconds, secured him the top spot, edging out French rider Marie Demonte, who finished second in 39.72 seconds. Saudi rider Abdullah Ibrahim completed the podium in third place with a time of 43.81 seconds.
