DUBAI — Ettifaq Club has officially secured the signing of Spanish midfielder Alvaro Medran, sealing a three-and-a-half-year professional contract. The talented midfielder makes the move from Al-Taawoun FC.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Ettifaq Club's camp in Dubai, with the presence of CEO Hamad Al-Mutawa overseeing the agreement.
Born in 1994, Alvaro Medran has an extensive football career with several Spanish clubs. He began his professional journey with Real Madrid during the 2011/2012 season and was part of the squad that secured victory in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2015. His career in Spain continued with notable spells at Valencia, Getafe, Deportivo Alavés, and Rayo Vallecano. He then ventured to the United States, playing for Chicago Fire, before joining Al-Taawoun in the 2021/2022 season.
