Riyadh, September 10, 2023, Today, the "Expo Expo MENA" exposition received its formal opening from Amjad Shaker, acting CEO of the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA). The Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center is the venue for this occasion, which is widely regarded as the most important meeting in the world's exhibitions and conferences sector. Shaker greeted visitors from all over the world with a warm welcome in his opening remarks. He underscored the sector's continuous expansion in the Kingdom, pointing out a stunning 15% increase in growth rates for the first eight months of this year over the same period last year. Shaker further pointed out that the third and fourth quarters of the year are normally when the exhibition and conference season picks up steam, indicating that it is still expanding. After making his remarks, Shaker led a tour of the exhibition's many participant pavilions.
It's important to note that SCEGA is the worldwide Expo's strategic partner. The Expo will continue to host events through next Tuesday. In addition to the participation of over 80 specialized companies in the sector, 1st Arabia for Tradeshows and Conferences organizes the Expo in collaboration with a renowned group of local and international experts in the exhibits and conferences field. Visitors can attend the Expo every day from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
