Makkah, June 12, 2024." As part of the Saudi conjoined twins program, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance greets the families of the conjoined twins who were separated today. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit honored them with a royal order. We took this unprecedented step to show great respect for the individuals. The ministry has made considerable preparations and plans, as well as organized many committees' comfort and support throughout their journey to perform the hajj. The twins' families have expressed their deepest gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, for their continual acts of kindness. These acts of kindness include successfully separating the conjoined twins and providing them with a place to stay during their Hajj pilgrimage.
