Family Affairs Council Concludes Forum on Family Counseling


Family Guidance Strategy Unveiled: The Family Forum, held under the patronage of Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, launched a new family guidance strategy aimed at helping families adapt to modern challenges.

Riyadh, September 5, 2024 – The seventh edition of the Family Forum, titled "Family Counseling: Building Power from Within in a Changing World," concluded after two enriching days, held under the esteemed patronage of Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Family Affairs Council. This notable event brought together a diverse group of leaders, policymakers, and distinguished experts in social and family issues, reflecting its significance in the realm of family support and development.



The forum was inaugurated with the launch of a comprehensive family guidance strategy, designed to address the evolving needs of families in today’s rapidly changing environment. Following the strategy’s introduction, a dynamic dialogue session took place, moderated by Dr. Maimoonah Al Khalil, Secretary-General of the Family Affairs Council. This session featured valuable insights from Eng. Al-Rajhi and Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan, who engaged in a meaningful discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing families.


Eng. Al-Rajhi emphasized the critical role of the new strategy in equipping families with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of modern life. Minister Al-Benyan highlighted the importance of fostering a strong partnership between families and educational institutions.
