Abu Dhabi, November 16, 2023, The agencies that took home the FANA Awards were honored by Dr. Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), and the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA). At the ceremony were Dr. Farid Ayar, Secretary-General of FANA, and Mohammed Jalal Al-Raisi, Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM). Qatar News Agency was awarded the Best Report Award for 2022, and WAM, given the 'FANA Quality Award' for 2023, were the two winning agencies. Dr. Al Aqran also recognized the Bahrain News Agency for receiving the 2023 Best Picture Award and the Saudi Press Agency for winning the Best Report Award.
