Riyadh, October 11, 2023, A delegation representing the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) paid a visit to the Saudi Arabia History Exhibition, hosted at the headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The delegation comprised notable figures from various news agencies, including Fatma Saud Al-Salem, Director-General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Najeh Missaoui, President and CEO of Tunis-Afrique Presse (TAP), and Fairouz Mubaideen, Director-General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra). Other members of the visiting delegation included Abdulla Buhejji, Director General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Ali Al Saad, Director of Communication and International Relations at the Emirates News Agency (WAM), and Farid Ayar, Secretary General of FANA.
SPA President, Dr. Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran, provided the delegation with insights into the exhibition's purpose and the broader initiative behind it. He highlighted the exhibition's role in promoting historical content through innovative and multimedia methods, thereby contributing to the dissemination of knowledge.
The delegation took a tour of the exhibition, which showcased different facets of Saudi Arabia's history, its vibrant present, and the promising future, all enriched by interactive displays and multimedia elements.
The visit culminated with the delegation receiving commemorative souvenirs as a memento of their experience.
