Riyadh, August 1, 2023, In a recent meeting, Ahmed Al-Sabban, the esteemed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fencing Federation, engaged in a fruitful discussion with Ziad Feriani, the head of the technical committee of the International Fencing Federation (FIE). The focal point of their conversation revolved around the meticulous preparations underway for the highly anticipated 2024 World Fencing Championship for Juniors and Youth. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place in the captivating realm of Saudi Arabia, with the month of April earmarked for its grand unveiling. On the fringes of the recently concluded Fencing World Championships in Milan, Italy, a significant meeting took place. During the discussions, a thorough review was conducted of the preparations and facilities for the Championship. In what promises to be a grand spectacle, over 1,500 exceptional athletes, both male and female, hailing from a staggering 100 countries, are set to participate in the upcoming event. Not only that, but the event will also be supported by a dedicated team of over 400 administrative and technical personnel, including esteemed referees and coaches.
