The recently concluded Fifth Arab Water Conference, held alongside the 15th Arab Ministerial Water Council session in Riyadh, highlighted the imperative for a comprehensive roadmap to attain sustainable water security in the Arab World. Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the conference featured nine panel sessions with the participation of Arab water ministers and representatives from regional and international organizations. Discussions centered on fostering collaboration and joint Arab efforts in water-related fields. The conference's closing statement acknowledged HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman's initiative to establish the Global Water Organization, expressing optimism about its role in advancing water security in the Arab region.
