The relief is part of the Saudi air bridge initiative to assist the Lebanese people during ongoing crises.
The fifth Saudi relief plane, organized by KSrelief, arrived in Beirut with food, shelter, and medical supplies.

On October 17, 2024, the fifth relief plane of the Saudi air bridge, organized by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived at Beirut International Airport. This mission is part of an ongoing effort to deliver crucial food, shelter, and medical supplies to Lebanon, in response to the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The humanitarian aid aims to support the Lebanese people during challenging times, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to play a vital role in international relief efforts. This latest shipment is part of a broader initiative under the Saudi air bridge program, which has been steadily delivering assistance to Lebanon to address various crises the country is facing. The supplies provided by KSrelief include essential food items, temporary shelter materials, and medical resources, all intended to alleviate the suffering of those affected by Lebanon’s ongoing difficulties.

This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's enduring commitment to standing by Lebanon, reaffirming its leadership in humanitarian outreach and its solidarity with the Lebanese people in times of need.
