Final qualifiers for the King Salman Quran Award begin Wednesday

Riyadh, March 05, 2024, Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the final qualifiers for the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Award for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran in its 25th session are set to commence on Wednesday. The competition, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, will run until Sha’ban 29, 1445 AH.

A total of 125 male and female participants will compete in the final qualifiers, vying for a prize pool of SAR 7 million. The winners of the award will be honored at two separate closing ceremonies. The ceremony for male winners is scheduled for Ramadan 3, while the ceremony for female winners will take place on Ramadan 4, 1445 AH, both in Riyadh. The closing ceremonies will be patronized by Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen, the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
