First Camel Festival covered intensively by 300+ media outlets

Riyadh, Feb 10, 2024, The inaugural Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival has garnered widespread attention, with over 300 reporters representing various print, audio, and visual media outlets providing comprehensive coverage.

Commencing on Thursday, the initial rounds of the festival showcased competitions in the Al-Haqayeq Bakkar and Qaadan categories. Over the course of 11 days, camel owners will vie for victory in 224 rounds, competing for a total prize pool exceeding SAR 70 million across categories including Al-Haqayeq, Al-Laqaya, Al-Jatha’a, and Al-Thanaya.

Satellite coverage of the festival begins with morning transmissions at 7:00 am, followed by analytical programs assessing the rounds at 1:00 pm. Evening runs commence at 2:00 pm, with additional programming including the Janadriyah program, culminating in the Nawamis Al-Arab program airing at 7:30 pm.

The festival has attracted the presence of numerous local, Gulf, Arab, and international satellite channels eager to capture the excitement of the festival's opening day and provide comprehensive coverage for their audiences.
